Reasonably priced, this is a speedy device, no lag on wireless mouse and has good thru-put on USB hard drive..

I'm still trying to figure out what will make it work, but twice now it has started working when I started with the ethernet cable connected and the USB ports empty, then plugged in my two USB 3 hard drives

As for the product itself, works exactly like advertised, I get 700-800 Mbps over Ethernet and USB 3.0 speeds with my external hard drives

So my plan was to use the Anker ports for these two devices which would free up the on-board ports for things like charging my phone or Garmin, and for my external hard drive

USB2 ports don't like USB flash/disk drives - they drop out/disconnect after a while

I needed this hub to connect two external hard drives (both externally powered) and a logitech unifying usb dongle for a Performance MX mouse to my 2017 Macbook pro

After 20 hours of restoring the hard drive and OS to its previous state, I was up and running again

My only gripe is that I can't charge my computer and use this adapter at the same time, so long term ethernet cable or external hard drive use is not exactly practical

I was able to reduce this problem by plugging the hard drives one port apart in the hub

Solid reliability, USB 3.0 performance is at least on par with Apple's own USB-C to USB3 adapter, and able to power any of the external hard drives I have tried (4TB WD, 2TB Seagate).
