    • The USB-C port is fine, but I already had a plethora of USB accessories that made my MacBook Air useful in all situations and now with the new port, I found myself a little anxious
    • The three USB 3.0 ports works and the Ethernet adapter.
    • The Ethernet port did not work with my MacBook Pro where the factory Apple adapter did
    • Excellent supplemental ports for travel.
    • Its unfortunate that Apple has put us in the position where something like this is absolutely necessary, yet still doesn't address all the issues of only having one port

    • Following some great customer service from Anker, who sent me a new dongle to test with, I was able to determine the the fault actually lies in the Apple HDMI/USB-C dongle; the USB-C port only supports a USB-C power supply, not a USB-C data connection.

    • Being an Electrical Engineer, I believe there is an insulating issue with the USB-A ports on the dongle to the body of the unit causing interference that severely affects the range of the mice!Secondly, for those concerned about battery life while leaving these plugged in, these units draw current even when nothing is plugged in, which is normal as anything plugged into a power sources draws a minuscule amount of current
    • USB2 ports don't like USB flash/disk drives - they drop out/disconnect after a while
