Seemed to drain the battery

I bought it for my wife since she left her phone as video camera to check our kids room through the whole night, and usually lose battery

Don't try to use your phone while it charges, it will still continue to drain the battery or just keep it at a certain percentage, depending on how many apps you have open

It's not picky as to where you have to place the phone and the charging speed is decent.

technically it works, but it is a very fickle item that easily disconnects from the plug and even when working as it is intended it is a very slow rate of charging.

The charger works as it should and with phone either vertical or horizontal so great for being powered and watching movies etc
