AOC G2460PF 24” Gaming Monitor, FreeSync, FHD (1920x1080), TN Panel, 144Hz, 1ms, Height Adjustable, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB

    • the colors are fantastic.
    • Color is nice, the size is just right, the adjustability of the screen position and orientation is killer... solid comp screen.
    • The ASUS has the best color reproduction and the BenQ has the best black contrast for seeing in dark areas, but they are both $50-80 more depending on
    • BUT the colors on my monitor where god awful... greens where almost non existent dark colors (even grey) where black or extremely bright, bright
    • I really don't know much about monitor tech, so if you're looking for a review that discusses how accurate the colors are or how dark the blacks are then look elsewhere
    • The colors are also super terrible
    • The colors on the QU model still aren't amazing, but the blacks and whites aren't completely blown out, and a lot of tweaking gets games looking decent.
    • Unfortunately the colors are blindingly bad, the backlight bleed is enormous, and color shift is wretched
    • Monitor has poor color settings that are hard to adjust, and to be able to use the freesync you have to have a compatible graphics card
    • It's red, probably because of the AMD/freesync thing, but it would be cool to get whichever color you'd like
    • The colors on this thing are an absolute nightmare
    • That is, provided you value smooth, beautiful motion and control responsiveness over vivid colors
    • If you care about accurate and rich colors, turn brightness to literally 0
    • the colors are beautiful and vibrant
    • I recommend a dual monitor set up with this monitor for high fps and then a 60 Hz monitor with better color
    • Immediately out of the box, I went into the display settings and switched from the default to the NVidia color profile and the results are satisfactory, colors are sharp and not washed out at all
    • Physically, the bezel has an attractive red/black color scheme, although it is thicker than some other gaming monitors
    • Seen some forums suggesting beta drivers may help, but I haven't tried that yet.-Terrible speaker, sounds awful-No DVI connection-TN technology has fast refresh but colors aren't as good as IPS
    • The poor colors, contrast, and gamma, as well as some glitches it has with V-Sync were the reason this monitor just wasn't for mePros:-Very nice build quality
    • Thing is super bright some good color i bet some are having problems with setting the screen set up once you get
    • Thing is super bright some good color i bet some are having problems with setting the screen set up once you get
    • This monitor is really a choice of personal preference, whether you would rather have a higher frame rate or better color
    • There was a single dead pixel on the right side of my screen upon delivery that sticks out in non-dark colors
    • I have it setup next to an older acer at the same resolution, and the color and brightness is obviously superior on this one
    • I do a lot of graphic work and need a monitor that has good clarity and color.
    • The colors are great once you calibrate them (I did it through my GPU settings)Definitely worth it!!!!!!!
    • Good quality resolution and color
    • The colors really aren't bad for a TN panel.
    • Great monitor 144hz colors had to be
    • The colors were clean and crisp and we noticed things we had never noticed in the show before, things that were just a little too dark on the TV
    • I had to change my background to a dull color just to even be capable of looking at it
    • As others have noted, the colors out of the box are a little wonky and you have fuss with the color settings a bit to get it where it need to be.
    • Amazing color and response time from this monitor
    • This monitor has a TN panel rather than an IPS panel, poor color quality.
    • The colors are nice
    • only gripe is the washed-out default colors but with some tedious tweaking the blacks are black and the colors are vibrant, couldn't be happier!
    • I expected the colors to be bad, but not THAT bad
    • The colors are awful, but that isn't the worst part
    • Color is kinda weak though.
    • I'm going to be getting an asus 144hz now saying that this monitor has god awful colors
    • Out of the box, my monitor was set for "showroom settings," in other words, brightness was jacked up to the highest it could go, as well as color and contrast.
    • As to the rest:Pros:- Good colors on a TN panel, once they've been
    • Cons:-Very poor colors, don't look right no matter how much you calibrate it
    • Beyond that, the colors were not as sharp and the resolution itself seemed worse in my experience (although technically both should be the same at 1920x1080)
    • I set it up and on my (dark colored)
    • Wonderful 144hz monitor with great colors right out of the box compared to the BenQ XL2411
    • Like everyone else said the colors are pretty lacking in vibrancy, but the smoothness of 144 Hz is amazing
    • Seems great at first, but glitchy and poor colors are the reason I'm returning it for the ViewSonic XG2401 instead
    • Beautiful screens with surprisingly good color
    • The color is vivid and brilliant
    • Very bright, great color, fast response time, and no dead pixels upon arrival!
    • BUT the colors on my monitor where god awful... greens where almost non existent dark colors (even grey) where black or extremely bright, bright
    • Overall, I like the display, however it is a TN panel, so the viewing angles aren't great and the colors aren't the best, but it will hold me over until I can afford a 1440p IPS display with a high refresh rate
    • The colors seemed great to me and I really think the only time you'd notice the lack of color quality would be if it was side by side with an ips
    • Besides that, the colors are not very accurate and the monitor is very bright
    • Monitor has awful colors and extreme brightness that hurts your eyes
    • The AOC G2460PF displays a superior picture quality, in clear colors and it comes with many ways to customize it to one’s needs
    • With this monitor you truly get what you pay for, Horrendous colors, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
    • It comes VERY bright out of the box but from an ICC profile and tweaking some of the other options especially lowering the brightness it's got great colors
    • Good colors and viewing angles
    • However, what struck me were the colors of this monitor
    • The image quality is also excellent… bright and vibrant colors make the gaming a great experience
    • The color in mine actually looks really good.
    • and the monitor is super bright but once calibrated it's great just remember it's not an IPS screen so don't expect perfect colors just calibrate to your preference
    • Great color and solid performance
    • The colors are horrible
    • but I mean it's got great color depth and viewing angles
    • Lighting is extremely bright but the color looks great and very crisp
    • I have another AOC monitor, and the colors on that one were much better when it first arrived
    • , Games run with such smoothness and beautiful colors !
    • Color is terrible.
    • Thing is great, do notice the color being off at bit but the price I got ,I can't complain too much
    • HOWEVER: If you can put up with getting the color adjusted (and note the color is not great as it is a tn pannel (tho note viewing angles are still fairly solid regardless)), this monitor is well worth just shy of $200 USD
    • They say the colors aren't really good
    • I regret the day I bought it, horrible color quality washed out colors
    • Don't expect super vivid colors (nature of TN panels, so do your homework) and comes really bright out of the box, all you got to do is adjust the settings and your good to go
    • 144 Hertz monitor for a fair price, colors are horrifying out of the box (personal opinion) very nice range with options to fix that though
    • On first boot, you will notice that colors on this monitor are very poor, as highlighted in other reviews
    • The color reproduction (like most things panels mind you, but even for a tn) is fuzzy
    • No dead pixels, no glare, small footprint, extra USB port, magnificent colors, split screen capability, and multiple connectivity
    • Broken color calibration hardcoded into the firmware
    • Fantastic colors after some calibration
    • UserRed:25Blue:25Green:25Also, I used the ICC colors for this monitor (found with a quick Google Search).10/10 Highly recommend.
