For the most part on some cheaper pop filters they use some dense one layer filter and the bendy arm always bends back a little bit instead of staying where you want it

I could've made a pop filter myself, but honestly there's only so much time in a day and if all I needed is a simple and quick everyday solution so that my P and B syllables won't spike the audio limiter - also makes for clean vocals and a nicely fabric filter.

This filter seems to be disposable and is missing the standard hinge so positioning is a bit of a pain.

I can tell you from experience that except for the expensive metal screen filters, all the pantyhose style filters pretty much all sound the same.
