    • This UPS appears to work as advertised, and as my scope shows, it puts out a relatively decent true sine wave when on battery power - definitely not a stepped sine wave.

    • You would hope that Amazon would have newer inventory of these units, or that Amazon wouldnt knowingly carry defective units, but clearly from the reviews on Amazon, it's still hit or miss as to whether or not you will order an APC BR1500MS (or BR1000MS, etc) and get one that doesn't chirp
