I will give APC the benefit of the doubt, that they cannot be held accountable for another company's products

I believe the replacement battery is called an APC genuine RBC CS3, but recommend you research before purchasing...

I understand some newer PC power supplies require the more expensive APC pure sine wave backup but for me this products fits the bill but do your research before you purchase to make sure your PC power supply does not require a pure sign wave

My Apc worked flawlessly

Replaced an older, larger, APC unit that suffered from annoying spurious power alarms, even after replacing the unit's battery (twice)

I have used many APC's in my line of work, and they have always worked great

Had a similar APC product that died after 7 years of service.

I used one of the competitor's products in the past but the genuine APC always offers better features.
