Batteries failing a self test after 7 months.

It seems to work, but just outside of the return window, it started failing self tests.

Replacement battery for my APC 1500 Pro UPS arrived with a very good test date

APC says this battery supports my older unit, but after installing it in my model BR1500G, it failed every self test I performed

I will update after a retest.********Update- 12-6-2017Installed 12-4-2017 and failed the self test at install as stated above

fall 2019---Purchased mid-June, paying extra for OEM battery but now already fails self-test and should already require replacement

It still fails the self test even though it has 100% charge available.

This time this replacement failed self test from the start

Recently my APC unit failed a battery test after 1.5 years of service on a replacement battery

I couldn't figure out how to disable the automatic self-test the software initiates and I wasn't quite ready to just remove the software

My old APC UPS was failing self-tests, and the panel on the front indicated I needed a new battery.

Original battery in my APC XS-1500G was failing the self test every couple of weeks

Now however just 3 months later (5 days after 'product support window' closed too!), its failing the self-test and claiming the battery is bad and needs replacing

Place a fully charged battery in the UPS and turn it ON and after it passes the "Power ON Test" Hot Swap the partially charged battery back into the UPS to complete the recharging while the UPS operates normally

Original battery lasted 10 years before it failed a test.
