I'd love to try another manufacturer's UPS unit to see if what APC offers is truly better quality.

I now have this new one installed in a BE350R (it says Back-UPS ES 350 on top of the unit) which passed its 'QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST' on 7/14/06

This product is top quality and remember you get what you pay for

It works well with reliable quality

So far, so good;no complaints as of 08/14/2016.

The high surge of current caused the UPS to "stink" as it charged the battery.

This particular new battery replacement looks like a refurbished item because the case is significantly scratched as if it had been previously installed.
