It expands the outlet and protects the items plugged into it.

The one thing I don't really like is once it's in and screwed down, it still moves some when plugging into the side outlets, it doesn't come out of the outlet, but it feels like with enough plugging in and taking plugs out something could eventually break.

Works really well, convenient plugs

If you have an oversize plug, which most apple products seem to have, it is a tight fit.

If the plug is a killer big like Apple power supply you can use just one side

I didn't use the screw to secure it, because my plug didn't have a middle screw and it works quite well

Six plugs much better than two

I bought one of these to replace a couple cheap 3 outlet extensions I had plugged into a normal 2 plug outlet

They are perfect for entertainment units and other furniture you want to push as far back against the wall, too, since the outlets are on the side and won’t damage your plugs

This needs to have the live connection on the bottom instead of the top as my both outlets on the same wall are hot on the bottom - and on a wall switch for the top outlets (female plug-in)

As someone who lives in an older apartment unit with unreliable wall plugs, I have one of these in almost every single outlet, both for peace of mind and for the utility of it.

This is great- cords plug into the sides, allowing us to push the bookcase up close to the wall.

The side plugs mean you can easily install it behind a countertop appliance and the plugs are usable.
