Good quality, Has a surge protector!!

While I do prefer the models that do not require me to take the face plate off of my outlet and screw this one in (I suppose you could rig it to not work that way), this protector appears to be really good quality ..... as I've come to expect from APC.

Nothing was plugged into this APC wall unit when I heard electrical sparking at the same time I smelled burning plastic, and the LED light bulbs in the room's ceiling light began to dim a LOT.Thankfully, I was able to pull this unit off the wall outlet before it could fully catch fire
