This meter is great, it's got clear instructions, allows you to calibrate to +
-
Mainly because it appears to be a higher quality, well made device - even though the included instructions and funky calibration procedure hold it back from a five star rating

absolute trash product, instructions and display

The instructions were total crap--sketchy, and written by someone with only the vaguest acquaintance with English.

I think that the manufacturer doesn't give detailed enough instructions on proper probe maintenance and storage

The Apera PH20 comes with excellent instructions, calibration solution, batteries, and a lanyard all nestled safe and secure in foam inside a hard-shell carrying case.

I had to try a couple of times to get it calibrated, but the instructions made it easy enough to figure out what I was doing wrong.

In the box, there are two vials of buffer solution for calibration (4.0 pH and 7.0 pH), all four requisite batteries, a nice little two-sided laminated graphical instruction quickstart manual explaining what to do with the aforementioned items, a certificate of quality, a lanyard, a full instruction page, and the device itself

And I love the laminnated instructions within the package.

For storage the instructions recommend a special solution but they also state you can use the included pH 4.0 solution temporarily
-
Practically right out of the box it works, just follow the instructions and calibrate the item and it will work fine, as long as you fill the cap with a bit of electrode storage solution (or the 4.0ph calibration solution in a pinch)It uses 4 AAA batteries and if you're like me, you have a ton of the rechargeable laying around
-
Comes with clear and precise instructions and works as advertised.

Easy to use, very well made, excellent operating instructions (including an illustrated laminated card.
