don't even bother with the cheap two prong short money gadgets, they are not reliably accurate but this one gives me comfort knowing where my plants & more importantly my nutrients are at in the soil.

I'd keep enough of it in the cap to submerge bulb and replace weekly with 4 ml of fresh 3M KCl.

I have had several other brands including bluelab & H M and like how the Apera pH performs

This meter has a nice cap with an O-ring that does not leak, so I expected it to last a while
