I like the built in mic

The mini-USB plug easily pops out with the slightest of movements, extremely frustratingThe built in mic seemed fine for recording demos, but you'll want an actual mic for any real recording

The metal casing is solid and the product is well built

Id rate the value = cost of this unit as a strong B-.Its a good value if you want easy to use with a MAC and are satisfied with above average sounding
