• Reviews around itunes (1.95 of 5)

Apple iPod classic 120 GB Black 6th Generation (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • I couldnt give it all 5 stars cause i really dont like ITUNES, It is just too damn controlin, Like i cant just dump movies and songs on my Ipod or take it to other computer it just erase everything, Good product but definately need to work on the software ITUNES, the zune isnt any different on the software side either and i think its worst if my memory serves me!
    • The iTunes Genius playlist feature consistently brings up songs that are excellent, but I wasn't familiar with or hadn't listened to in years
    • I'd ripped all of my music through Win Media Player, so I populated iTunes with my preloaded music
    • A couple of months later, it started freezing itunes every time I tried to sync it,
    • Every time I tried to restart the syncing process it would completely freeze iTunes for up to 5 minutes, and would do so every time I attempted to change any synchronize settings
    • I was told that the way around this was to upload all my 'unplayable' music from my IPod to ITunes and then convert that to a format compatible with the IPod, but ITunes wouldn't accept that either - so I tried to export the music from the IPod to my PC, then convert it there, but because you're forced to use the ITunes software to manage files, that didn't work either
    • I shall cut to the chase: If you purchase this device, you can expect EXTREMELY slow Itunes response and if you choose to manually load your ipod via drag-n-drop (again Itunes), you will be presented with a melange of duplicate/triplicate and on occasion...appropriate songs on the device
    • I could have still used my old iPod, iTunes is so smart, it just made a playlist that was small enough to fit on the 30GB drive
    • iTunes is very picky about reading tags and one small invisible anomaly can mess up a lot.
    • The new itunes is a lot easier to work with and the battery life is improved
    • eventually i could put the itunes software to use and now i enjoy
    • iTunes can be a pain in the
