The iPod was just as good as the creative MP3 player (which I loved - it had an untimely death when dropped into a full cup of water).

In the interim, I've had a Creative Zen Photo and a Microsoft Zune, which were good players, but had quirks of their own (the Zen got glitchy and eventually stopped working, and the Zune's software never handled my files correctly)

This was the best MP3 player for the job.

I had a large GB Creative MP3 player that this iPod replaced.

The iPod is a fine player
