Apple iPod Classic 80GB Black (6th Generation) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • The screen is a little small, but its not painful to watch
    • It has a clear screen and the buttons work with just a light touch.
    • True, the new interface is lovely, the screen is a touch brighter and its a thiner design, but even after the update from Apple, the spin up time on the interface is just so slow
    • The screen had a few scratches as well
    • I have actually downloaded tv shows for the ipod because of the great screen quality, although that is not initially what I thought that I would use the ipod for
    • i pod except that this one has a much brighter screen and the videos are at a slightly higher
    • You will Love the Big Screen, the storage, the Interface, and many other cool features on the Ipod.
    • I'm used to manipulating the wheel and don't mind it although many people prefer touch screens.
    • This keeps the screen SAFE
    • I just recommend that you fork over the $30 or so for the Incase neoprene sleeve specifically for the classic to protect the screen and keep the grime and scratches off
    • I hate touch screens.
    • Sure, the screen is gorgeous and the slim form factor is great, especially given its 80GB capacity
    • For only $250, you are getting almost 3 times the hard drive space from the previous model (5.5 generation), you also get the new interface, a slimmer body, all metal casing and a super bright screen
    • I have all my CD's on this Ipod and still have mega-space for movies and such....plus with an attachment, I can play it through my car stereo!I bought a Belkin Case for it to protect the screen and body of it
    • The screen has a big scuff on it, and the click wheel is horrible
    • The glowing screen (with adjustable brightness) allows you to clearly view videos in dark rooms or where reflections would normally ruin the viewing experience
    • Good controls, beautiful screen and easy to use!
    • With all of the suggested power reduction recommendations made by Apple (no EQ, no back light, no jumping from track to track, etc), I can confirm that I have had no more the 3.5hrs audio playback (50% volume).Video play back lasts about 1.5hrs, although the screen looks great
    • The screen is very bright and is still somewhat readable even in direct sunlight
    • screen is enjoying
    • Then, the screen got dusty
    • I love the big screen
    • The screen had a few scratches as well
    • The screen is a lot clearer and cleaner to view than the previous iPod 5.5/5.0 generations of which I owned also.
    • With its bright screen, impressive storage capacity, tougher metal face-plate, and low price, the 80 GB classic was certainly the best iPod choice for me.
    • The brighter screen renovation with the beautiful cover flow is state-of-the-art.
    • The screen has held up very well despite the rigors of daily subway travel, the sound quality is acceptable, and I usually only have to recharge the iPod once every week or two.
    • I'm hoping there is a way to turn off the split screen and have just the regular view
    • The "screen saver" sucks, it tells me the time which I could care less about seeing as how I have a watch and a phone, so I have to take it off of hold and click in order to view the song
    • The screen is gorgeous and colorful.
    • If video is must look elsewhere perhaps to the iPod touch (great screen and makes video actually an option) or one of the Archos options (better screen size and storage then the touch and some with video in option).
    • This ipod is small, thin and the screen is absolutely beautiful to view.
    • because it could broke his screen.
    • I also love the 2.5 inch screen
    • I love the screen, I love that my entire collection can be stored on it, I love the cover flow.
    • Less than two months later, he goes to use it and the screen is messed up on the inside.
    • Almost got another Nano, but went with the new 80G Classic (the 160G is just a little too big for comfort and fitting in laptop case). The screen is very good and the frame rate is very good
    • The screen seems nice and bright and in a pinch I guess it would be OK for short videos (YOUTUBE clips?)or pictures
    • The guy said that, if you carry the ipod around (actually expect it to be portable), it's common for the side to get "pinched" which ruins the screen and they consider it your fault
    • I like the design and the bright screen of new iPod but who wants to wait for music to load for five seconds or who wants to try adjusting volumes multiple times because click-wheel simply doesn't feel your touch
    • The screen stopped working suddenly
    • The screen is much darker so you can't see it without the backlight, and there isn't an option to turn off the backlight either.
    • I only address these issues first b/c
