Sound is great on newer updated releases thru Amazon & I tunes
-
The original sound is fine as it is
-
Upon turning the EQ off, the distortion vanished completely, the sound was just fine, pretty good in fact
-
The classic has great sound, great battery life for music, and the best no-look volume control etc
-
Great sound and quality
-
No, I don't bother with the provided ear buds, I use a basic ten dollar pair of Sony headphones--and the sound is fantastic
-
But I've tried what I know, and can't give the Classic much of a rating when its sound is so bad.
-
I find the equalizer is best off (not one EQ setting seems to enhance the sound in the way I like), but apart from that it seems a wonderfully designed music player
-
Plus the headphone jack was loosening up as well ( sound coming out of one side )
-
The sound, awesome
-
Great iPod love the sound the company should have keep making them
-
It has a lot of memory, good sound, and its physically -plenty small.
-
It's a shame that you have to turn off the EQ settings to get good sound
-
It is very user-friendly, has great storage space, the sound is good, the battery life is excellent, and the screen (which, at first, I was concerned would be too small for my (ahem) older bespeckled eyes) is actually very sharp
-
This seems to be debated on a lot, but it seems the general conclusion, mine as well, is that the Iopd classic is slightly warmer sounding with a better bass response in general.
-
Sweet sounds restored from my '04 OG 20GB white iPod Classic
-
you want normal distortion free sound
-
sound is incredible for both voice and music.
-
The sound of the iTunes mp3's is as good as the original CD's, there is no mess of CD's to deal with any longer, and the iPod itself sits in a Yamaha Universal iPod Dock and can be controlled by the Yamaha remote with on-screen menus
-
* Great sound and picture
-
I love its sound and all the space it hods
-
I thought it was due to the bad sound everyone was talking about until I turned OFF the EQ
-
Only gripe is the hard drive makes audible clicking sounds, but it's not an issue.
-
Great sound out of a little box.
-
The objective of the iPod is to offer reasonable sound and video at a reasonable price
-
Video is crystal clear, and the Sound is truely amazing
-
Sound did not work
-
Some of the really nice updates on this Ipod compared to older models follow:1 Bigger album artwork(slightly), although you cant just look at album covers and nothing more like the last model.2 Better sound.
