Yes, there are other "clip on" music players like the Sansa Clip that come in at 1/3 the cost, but you are also paying for a beautiful design

Looks/design: Like all Apple products, the iPod Nano looks fantastic

The Nano 6G is also compatible with Nike+iPod, but you do need the NIKE + IPOD SPORT KIT-USA.This device suits my needs
