this is a Really portable device and is great for running, going to the gym or just for listening your music it also has a great price for an apple product

This little device is great for listening to music or podcasts during short (<90 min) workouts

This device is too hard to operate, every time it syncs I lose my place in my book

I've run about 100 km with shuffle and it is great device, great sound quality, easy to make your own play list, the buttery live is very long and it is so light so you can clip it on your shirt

This device is worse than disappointing.

This an outstanding device if you want to listen to your music (which after all, is what you buy these things for anyway, right?)

The device becomes unresponsive, loses it charge and a royal disaster.

just clip it and go back to the song if you have to (or turn it on after you clip if your SO worried about it..) are we that lazy that we cant go back to the prev song because its not convenient?as for being afraid to scratch the device by turning it on - dont be

Thought it was a practically perfect device.

And the issue about the clip and hitting the buttons; I have large fingers and operate the device fine.

The only complaint, which is why it got 4 instead of 5 stars, is that sweat easily damages the device

This device has come a long way in its (at times, misguided) evolution

I also liked what I thought was a sturdier device, as my Sansa clip snapped off and I wanted to try the new Shuffle

Compact size, a clever interface, and a clean design makes this device a good purchase.
