Instead of having to run Windows software with codecs and dealing with constant problems, you get seamless iTunes connectivity with the fantastic Coverflow interface.

While I really love the touch interface, it's impossible to change tracks or volume without looking at the player, an awkward trait.

There's a lot of apps you cannot buy from it being the old model, as well as it has no camera, other than that the ipod is good to go
