While it lacks the great screen of the TOUCH it holds so much more and the controls are considerable more people friendly
-
Great screen
-
Where the old Ipods where know for the "click-wheel," the Ipod Touch is going to be know for its near-perfect touch screen interface
-
It takes longer than 10 seconds of pressing the top button and the front screen on button to get it to start up.
-
Very intuitive with a responsive touch screen.
-
width+ Orientation detection changes view to landscape mode automatically when turning iPod!+ Brighter screen with great contrast and crisp sharp images+ Wireless access via 802.11 b/g compliant antenna (still waiting for `n')+ Wireless searching and video on mode can be disabled to extend battery life+ Headphone jack compatible with standard phones+ Genius playlist feature works
-
It is so easy to use and the screen is beautiful
-
Those can be found anywhere for around $5.I'm happy with my purchase of the iPod as well as the screen protector.
-
She has been thrilled with the new features and loves this newer "big screen" IPOD
-
It cost me $15, but it really does protect the screen as well as eliminate the fingerprint marks that were so evident before the protector.
-
Great Screen - very bright and clearLove how it turns off when I unplug a cable from the headphone
-
It's not just the screen that died (actually the screen is probably just fine...)Back to the review:I've owned numerous iPods over the years prior to the 2nd Gen Touch.
-
From the very responsive touch screen, the WiFi access, the zoom/pan touch screen, and the small form factor that works well in a pocket during a workout, this unit has it.
-
All of the iPod Touches had defective screens with the same severe interlacing problem
-
I did some research for a good screen protector and found that the best one is from Apple called Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod Touch.
-
but i was looking for something slim to workout with but also have a big enough screen to watch movies on the go.
-
Not to mention, the entire front screen of the iPod is well...pretty darned important
-
Things I love about it include:*A big, beautiful, bright screen*Easily navigated interface (I especially love being able to touch the first letter of the artist I want and go straight to that area of the list)*Good sound (though I honestly can't remember how my Zune compared)*Syncable with MediaMonkey (only the best music software I've ever had the pleasure of using--and it's free!!)*Much thinner and sleeker than the Zune*The shuffle algorithm seems to be much better than the one I had in Zune, which would play the same songs over and over*Internet browsing wherever there's wi-fi is pretty dizamn sweetThings that I find less than thrilling:*Having to unlock the player by sliding my finger across that bar every time I want to interact with it--there should be an option to disable that*The Zune had a feature that would allow me to go straight to all of the current playing artist's music from the now playing screen (not just the album that song is on), and I miss that*All
-
, the screen is bright, colors are crisp, and the resolution is such that small type on web pages displayed in portrait view is clearly legible
-
While I can't deny the Touch is quite impressive with a beautiful screen and sharp clarity, it wasn't worth the price i paid for it ($380)
-
By now, most people reading this will have handled the ipod touch or an iphone, so I won't say anything about the beautiful screen, nice sized memory, handy speaker, cool apps, and other revolutionary aspects.
-
Also on certain menus I try to change settings on, the screen gives you a split second to decide then changes to what it wants to.
-
She loves it, I would recommend the silicon Sleeve and a clear screen protector
-
The screen is very clear and contrast is excellent even while walking in the sunny weather.
-
While it lacks the great screen of the TOUCH it holds so much more and the controls are considerable more people friendly
-
This is a very good, nice looking, nice working toy!Excellent screen, the best of all players
-
The screen is amazingly clear and colorful, the available apps are so numerous that you can't help but find a lot of things that you want (many of them free)
-
Screen is bright and clear.
-
I also got iKross 3-Pack Premium Reusable LCD Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth for iPod touch (Clear) to protect the screen
-
The screen is beautiful and the user interface is elegant to say the least (all you iPhone owners know exactly what I'm talking about)
-
By far the best touch screen EVER made.
-
He told me that if I exchange it at the Apple Store, I might get another one with a bad screen or I might end up with a used or refurbished model that is in much worse shape than the one I just bought
-
So now that we know this thing is worth the purchase, one thing I want to emphasize is that the screen is easily susceptible to scratches.
-
This product is amazing, better than the pda that it replaced, the screen was perfect with a few small scratches on the back.
-
The iPod screen is still as sensitive with the protective film and now there is absolutely no glare
-
The screen is gorgeous , the keypad easy to use
-
Granted, my biggest problem is the wifi, b/c you have to be in a wifi spot to be able to use the internet.
-
but it's the functionality that counts with me, not who provides it).6) Great e-book readers, especially Stanza, ereader, and now Kindle.7
-
Even reading one of the e-books available for free easily beats watching TV.Many of my friends would find this review amazing since I have never really been a big fan of Apple products
