Outdoor it is perfectly fine, for what it is (not a true camera) however poor lighting and some indoor lightingyou may as well forget it

5) almost any movies, games, music info and any pictures are displayed in almost the same resolution regardless of 3rd or 4th gen, 6) wireless connection does not make much difference on either device as download speeds are almost the exact same on wireless g or wireless n compared side by side, 7) Camera absolutely sucks on 4th gen and there are not many options at all to edit photos while they are being taken or after taking

The biggest complaint about the latest iPod Touch is the cameras.

I agree with some people who said they should have made the product bigger so they could add a decent camera, but it's not a huge deal for me either way.

The retina display is first class; the web browser excellent for such a small device; the sheer number of available functions truly awesome, the way the screen moves in response to finger-stroking actually sensual and organic, the camera-shutter-like `click' as it moves from one function to the next, reassuring

That thinness limits the cameras that will fit into the device

The cheap little front camera for Face Time, again, cool, nice touch.

I love the camera...you can switch your camera from the view forward to switching it or swiveling the camera's view around to view you or the picture taker (sounds confusing but so cool).

Both cameras are capable of taking still pictures but the results don't hold up to the iPhone 4 5-megapixel camera

if Apple would have introduced the new iPod touch 4th generation as being as thick as say the iPhone 4 with the better camera fitting inside, nobody would have been complaining that it's too thick.

Downsides: camera is not the best; sound is great when listening on headphones, but not when playing from speakers on iPod.

Movies just pop, photos (taken by a good camera) are beautiful, and the device is flat out fast.

I thought they did it again with this years addition to the Ipod Touch which now has two cameras located one on the front and back just like the ones on the iphone 4g, which is advertised to take HD clarity pictures/video, I again traded my Ipod to buy this version

This ipod is like an iphone4g, this is a great product, the only two things i dont like are the camera and the bluetooth (cant send files to other bluetooth dispositives)
