Retina display is gorgeous, although it's not an IPS display, it looks really good

now the new retina display blows away the clarity, and sharpness of the 3rd gen, the new built in speaker sounds better, again more musical then the 3rd gen, apps and other wifif things open quicker, and the colors (this is due to the new display) are richer and more colorful

The addition of the cameras, the improved display resolution, smaller size and greater battery life are the key reasons I upgraded.

You do feel like you are holding and handling a redesigned and improved product.*Surprisingly, it only has 256MB or RAM, or at least this is what the Sysmon app reports on the device.*The Display is revolutionary

The retina display is amazing

If you don't care so much about taking photos and video on you iPod, the retina display might just be enough to make you want to get the new model.

iPod Touch is now as fast as the iPhone and has the gorgeous Retina display that the iPhone features.

I was so irritated that I smashed the I-pod so that no one else could be as disappointed as I was with this product
