If you have good wifi access, it may completely displace your need for a smart phone.

If you're willing to spend over $300 on this product, it's definitely worth it for those who use it constantly and for those without smart phones.

Now everyone has an iPhone or an android phone so these iPods are kinda worthless now with the options you have with modern phones.

Rather than buy a smart phone and their ridiculous data plans I opted to buy the Apple I-touch instead (The wife also didn't want people to think she was getting on her 'phone' at work for personal reasons)
