Apple iPod touch 8 GB (1st Generation) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • The iPod was in a case, but the screen was damaged when he was goofy off playing football
    • You have to wait for screens to show up and gravity to send the right message and screens to adjust and lighting and etc.
    • Easy to use, clear screen.
    • I say this because when the screen gets dark to save battery, you have to unlock it first, which you do by sliding the graphical slider, and then you can change songs.
    • This is a great player, with great sound and a beautiful screen.
    • Every once in a while your screen may freeze, nothing major though
    • All of the applications, sleek case and artful screens are marvelous
    • The hardware is very stylish and seems very high quality, and the screen is amazingly bright and clear
    • Also, you can "hide" icons with Boss Prefs or Poof! to clear up your screens
    • I got a Griffin leather hard shell case with a protective screen cover for about $20.00
    • I've kept the original sticker on the screen, which is the best screen protector out there!
    • The screen is gorgeous
    • Bright screen, world-class fit and finish, pretty good battery life and tons of functionality.
    • I wish the screen was more durable for teenage boys
    • Also I know it's a cool touch screen, but I wish it could go into a mode with some sort of pointer device too.
    • Apple has taken the iPhone, removed the cellular antenna & circuitry, and has truly made "the funnest (sic) iPod ever".PROS:-InCREDIBLY thin (8 mm!) and light-Extra-bright, High resolution screen-Beautiful design-New software with the App store (TONS of programs, many of which are free)-Built-in accelerometer (you have the ability to turn the iTouch on its side and watch videos/movies and browse the web in widescreen)-WiFi iTunes store (you can buy music, videos, tv shows directly over wifi to your iTouch)-Solid State construction (no moving parts - good for people who are prone to dropping their things(hi!))-Touch sensitivity is spot-on-Great sound quality-NTSC & PAL video outCONS:-Touch screen is unfortunately capacitive (it works using electrical impulses from your fingers; i.e. styluses won't work), making it difficult for people in cold-weather
    • I like the big screen and being able to go online practically anywhere and use the REAL internet (you're not limited to mobile sites).Typing took a bit getting used to, but once you do it's pretty fast
    • Very stylish, looks good, fantastic user interface, sound quality is good (but not as good as other mp3 players), large screen, video plays crisp and clear, Safari browser works well, iTunes store is easy to use, sturdy and stable player, new applications make it even more value for money
