Allows you to add all your favorite video apps so watching is easy just using the Apple TV remote!

I got this because my older apple TV only had limited apps

This Apple TV works great, the apps are good but the remote is a massive pain in the butt.

I can have my amazon prime videos app and sling app on it as well.

It should allow me to use any app available on my iPad as well, after I download it again to Apple TV, but with the overly touchy remote, I’m not sure I’ll want to!

But this does not take away from the fact that it is still very intuitive and easy to use and all the apps that I need to watch my favorite shows are ready to download.

I find using the remote app on my phone works better than fumbling with the remote that comes with the device.

Since I can't even use the TV to download FREE apps like Plex I will now have to send this piece of junk back for a refund and purchase a roku instead.

Unfortunately, there's some licencing issue keeping some apps from the preferred menu, but double-clicking the Home button brings up an excellent task manager for multitasking.

You may not need this if you have a newer TV that supports internet apps.

Picture quality, app selection, and connectivity issues all worse than the Chromecast but the fact that you need either your Phone or PC to even use the Chromecast makes Roku barely better - because I can use it with just the remote, not needing to be on PC or phone which is super annoying

Sometimes it quits working altogether (even the app) and we’re stuck only able to hit menu over and over again.

YouTube app got worse, I can no longer log into my channel, I can only log into the main account
