Apple has apparently become obsessed with rechargables so you can no longer simply swap out the battery with a new one, you now will have to charge the remote periodically with a proprietary Apple charger, the one that works with iPhone will work

Buy a Roku or Fire rather than use the stupid Apple remote

Apple in general seems way overpriced and much to limited in all their latest generations of gadgets like Apple TVs and iPhones, just to name a few.

The Apple silly notion of hard coding some things (mark all as watched) as a 'long press' which cannot be programmed into a universal remote, is still an issue.

You can install third party apps built just for it, though Apple has said that it would eventually like the Apple TV and iOS devices to share apps

If Apple could address the freezing issues (and perhaps open up the offerings a bit to be competitive with Roku and Amazon), I would give it a higher rating.

Intuitively I scroll to the right because i see my playlists there - but if I scroll to the right, the stupid apple TV takes me to the next menu option on the tiny menu at the top

Solid all around, only annoyance is the remote takes a little getting used to (I bought a rubber holder/strap), otherwise Apple got it perfect with this version.

Apple loves to force you to sign in to your account like every 3 days which is super irritating even with the awful Siri remote where you can technically speak your username and password, but good luck.

Arguably that's largely a credit to the attached components, but Apple's box is capable of providing the content to match

One small complaint would be Apple not allowing more app developers to feature content on Siri suggestions or inside the TV app.
