I really wanted to like this device, but the remote is so very frustrating

It is a very high quality and powerful streaming device but poor value if you have little iTunes content

I say shortly and clearly, I’ll recommend the device to everyone in my opinion this is the best device of 2018

You can install third party apps built just for it, though Apple has said that it would eventually like the Apple TV and iOS devices to share apps

There are far fewer Homekit devices available on the market than other standards

I plug this device in and it doesn’t work with the WiFi in my room because it’s public

If you want to install Kodi on it but don't own a Mac, you are out of luck, and there are much cheaper devices on the market that install and run Kodi from the play store

However, this device has become virtually unusable in our den because of an odd glitch

It’s just a hassle to use two devices when one should work

Yes, I could have purchased a less expensive 4K streaming device that would have provided a few things Apple TV does

I am an Apple fan but really hate this device

Oh well, it’s still a slick device and worth the money, but I’ll be buying 4-K Blu-ray discs until Apple fixes this.

I like Roku devices much much better.

even watch em on my computer or phones because I added the AppleTv to the network so it’s limited all devices to a maximum of 1080p 60fps!Apple is supposed to be the luxury no hassle top tier devices but seems that’s all died with Steve (RIP) because apple won’t come to an agreement with Disney Studios or YouTube

It turns out that Netflix is really picky about what devices they approve for 4k playback, so requirement #6 eliminated all, but a handful of options (primarily Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield)
