Therefore I went and bought a third party band that looks pretty much identical to the Milanese Loop offered by Apple, but at a much cheaper price
I'd order another but am going to try a more reasonably priced gadget.

Honestly the best and most useful feature to me, is the hepatic tap/touch when I'm using navigation to make sure I don't miss my turns
Now I just have to play with it and learn all the great features.
They advised me to disable certain features, which was okay with me.
My answer is simple; the watch doesn’t replace my phone, but compliments it and the features on the Apple Watch make using your iPhone easier
