Pros: Works just as advertised, copies data quickly, great transfer tool for dying HDDs if you can keep them alive long enough to do the transfer

Great tool to have for migrating from HDD to SSD

Many software tools capable of changing the size of an MBR based partition do not work reliably on GPT partitions

The Apricorn made replacement of the hard drive in my laptop easy and painless, this is a great tool for giving an old computer new life.

i used this tool all the time at work as well, and it will copy any HD to another HD with any hardware transfer device used

(This set me back a couple hours while I used Gparted (a free, graphical partitioning tool) to remove the partitions from the new hard drive and start over.)In EZGig, be sure to MANUALLY ADJUST the PRIMARY PARTITION to use all the new (unallocated) space on your new hard drive.

great inexpensive HDD cloning tool, I have only owned the Apricorn for just under a month, I have used it to clone 11 HDDs, in my instances the cloning process was fairly quick and painless even with a couple SATA II lappys I did, it says notebook in the description, but this works great for doing external backups and cloning on a desktop PC
