Inso ,far radios did work for up over to 3/4 of miles in distance ,in clear out doors terrain wilderness,would not work any further in receptions,good for short distances communications

These little radios are light, easy to carry with the belt clip and will easily transmit 4 miles line-of-sight

Great radio...works very well and transmissions are very clear even in the thick wooded area where there is no cell phone coverage.

1 radio has a slight delay when pressing the ptt button that requires user to pause longer before speaking, not the worst just noticeable

Edit 3/19/20 - Arcshell's customer service team reached out and went above and beyond to supply us with a proper radio model (the AR-8) that addressed all my concerns below - it has push buttons on the front of the unit that also have a LOCK feature so bumping the buttons by accident wont change channels / features!

They are good quality radios - they work in the mountains only about 2 miles with spotty reception, but with no cell service they come in handy to keep track of your traveling partners.

Handy lightweight little radios, with great reception.

I needed walkie-talkies that worked long distance as well as in buildings

My boys love them as we work on call signs, code words, and brevity when they are at the park and biking and walking nearby

We originally had an issue with the walkie talkies as they were not consistently working.

I wasn't even able to use them, the batteries stopped working as they were charging

I am very happy with these walkie talkies they make coordinating a wedding so much easier
