We left the dye on for 50+ minutes (instructions just say at least 30 minutes) but it didn’t show up at all on my daughter’s dirty blonde/light brown hair once we rinsed it out.

The product is great, it’s actually one of my favorite hair dyes, and the company is vegan and doesn’t test on animals

and even on my level 2-3 dark hair it left pink tint to it
