If you are using harsh shampoos, washing everyday and using hot hot water of course it's not going to last

So, imagine my surprise when my organic shampoo tore this right out of my hair when the 72hr after dye rest period was over

That was almost 2 weeks ago and even when I shampoo with a color safe shampoo, purple is still washing from my hair.

Littwrally washed completely out after 1 shower with color safe shampoo

Every single time I wash it (with cold water and color safe shampoo/conditioner) it bleeds blue everywhere

anytime I applied a gentle color safe shampoo

Tip: swimming in a chlorinated pool or salt water, bring in the sun and specifically using a clear "clarifying" shampoo will fade you much faster

from the start, and largely washed out after just a few shampoos with color-safe shampoo

I have been washing my hair every 7 days (with sulfate free shampoo) since I dyed my hair

Lasted maybe 3 weeks (once a week wash with color safe shampoo and conditioner)

I suggest using a sulfate/free shampoo, add a bit of the dye to your conditioner too & use cold water to make it last longer

I recolored about a month ago because it doesn't really need it, if you upkeep it by using color safe shampoo and keep washing to a minimum

In order to keep hair from fading faster, use a sulfate/paraben free shampoo and conditioner specifically for color treated hair, and in order to get the bright pop of color, use on pre lightened and bleached hair.

and they get super faded in a week or two and that’s while washing my hair maybe 2 or 3 times in 2 weeks with sulfate free shampoos and color protectors
