Great compound, used it to repair a few overheating PS3's, make sure to clean off old compound with at least 91% rubbing alcohol before applying

The Arctic MX-4 compound worked great on my grandson's laptop when I replaced the motherboard

Once I applied the thermal pads I cleaned off the old thermal compound on the heatsink and GPU and then liberally applied MX-4 to the GPU

This is by far the absolute best thermal compound i have ever used, it keeps my cpu coolest out of the few compounds ive tried, including, noctua

Some of the other good popular compounds deteriorate with age and will need to be replaced after 3 years or so

I used 91% isopropyl and q-tips to clean the old dried up thermal compound off all surfaces of the processors and my heatsinks before I applied the MX-4.

yes there are probably 'better' compounds that may benchmark slightly better, but in the real world, this will work just as well as any other, as long as you install and apply it properly

This thermal compound is much better then the one included with the Hyper 212 Evo, which is extremely thick and hard and almost impossible to get a proper spread on (although it works great for tinting the base of of heatsink (which seems to make a noticable difference in heatsinks with direct contact heat pipes.)No problems with this compound, and for the price you get a large amount, I actually used it twice on the above heatsink, the first time was a trial to test it's spread

Obviously there are much more effective compounds out there, but unless you're going crazy overclocking and willing to put up with the harder to apply ones, this is a great compound to get

I do plan to get a better compound in the future to see if I can hit the mid 10

This is a good compound perhaps not the best out there, but it keeps my i7 8700k at 4.8ghz around 25c idle with a corsair 360 radiator

With the cleaning and the fresh thermal compound (was stock before), my temperatures have never risen above 72% of maximum operating temperature even under heavy load.

Great compound, I’m overclocked to 4600MHz on my cpu and my temps are at 30 Celsius!

In all three cases the compound was very easy to apply with just a plastic card; I used an old gift card for this purpose

This compound is the best that I have used so far, out of 3 compounds that I have used this has kept my CPU about 10 to 15 degrees cooler

just open up the bottom, clean out the fan, clean off the old compound, put a drop of this stuff and put it together, let it set and your laptop will be happy again.

Seems to work better at keeping cpu & gpu cool than older cooling compounds.

Dropped my old Phenom II x4's idle temperatures from 51°C with the awful OEM thermal compound to a much more comfortable 38°C with the stock cooler.

It is an amazing compound and a must buy if you own a Lenovo Yoga 720.

Anyways after using this thermal compound and my Arctic Liquid Freezer 120, my CPU now idling just a few degrees over ambient temperatures and when under load, doesn't really go over 50°C anymore

After this paste one card never gets hotter then 81 C and another which is mounted higher never goes up 88

Bam, temps lowered to 38-40°C idle, 34°C min, and peaking at 55°C after playing Bioshock Infinite for a few min!

7700k sits around 33-50º C with this thermal past and a 212 tower cooler.

Under full load, this grease was able to keep the same CPU at a respectable 62 C after half an hour of stress testing.
