I bought this for cold brewing but B grinder doesn’t grind coarsely for Cold coffee brewing

Unfortunately the coarse grind is neither even nor coarse enough for french press or cold brew

I still have to manually grind for cold brew size.

I’ve also used it to powder espresso beans, and make coarse grind for cold brew

I feel that the coarsest grind on this is definitely not coarse enough for a French press, which subsequently makes it unusable for my cold brew as well

I tried making cold brew once; I could not get what I thought was a coarse enough grind.

We do pour over and drip coffee, so don't need very coarse grinds like for french press or cold brew

Like many reviewers here I bought this grinder to grind my coffee for cold brew.

I use it for both espresso and cold brew, which are on opposite ends of the spectrum for grind coarseness, and it works great for both.

I routinely use 5 different ways to make coffee (espresso, aeropress, pour over, french press, cold brew)

Then when cold brew season comes, I'd probably prefer it to be a supposed 26-30.TLDR; Good grinder for espresso, could be coarser for pour overs,

Great grinder, my old one was a small grinder that didn’t hold enough for a strong brew without grinding twice

I can't comment on cold brew coarseness, but this has yielded some pretty tasty brews for me after dialing them in via French press, pour-over and moka pot alike.

Lastly, I don't bother w/the timer, as it always resets to running constantly & I put in the right amount of whole beans for brewing & just let it run until they're gone
