This machine has many options on grinding type- the dial resets every time also kind of annoying - so mess and having to reset every time is why I’m giving this a four star review
-
Very nice Burr Coffee machine
-
This machine easily grinds oily coffees like French Roast and the grinder doesn't have to be cleaned after each use.
-
We’ve used this machine to grind 2 or 3 pots of drip coffee every day for the past 5 months
-
It's a good looking machine and fits right in next to my coffeemaker.
-
A great machine; such a relief from time and effort spent with my hand-crank grinder.
-
The grinder is a major factor in the flavor of your coffee, and despite its shortcomings, I do think this is a capable machine in terms of grind quality.
-
Fortunately, it’s simple enough to work around this issue through various combinations of tilting the machine back and forth (it's lightweight enough), giving the side a few taps, and running the burrs for a second or two while keeping the cup under the chute.
-
This machine works great, easy to use and understand, various grinds come out great, I recommend
-
The ONLY reason I cannot give this machine a better regard is for the sole flaw in its design: coffee grounds get everywhere
-
What's unanswered is how durable this machine will be
-
When grinding, the machine produced a weird high-pitched wheeze
-
The machine is far quieter than any of my other grinders, and seems to be of excellent materials and build quality.
-
2 machines in less than 2 years is completely unacceptable
-
We are deeply appreciative of the White Coffee Company of New York for quickly resolving our problem and replacing the machine, eliminating our disappointment in losing this machine after only a month of use.
-
Works really well and is much quieter then my previous machine
-
Once the grounds begin spewing out of the damaged seal, this machine will be worthless to me
-
Great machine for a decent price
-
Note that the burr grinding blades are very sharp and metal, but there are plastic gear wheels, which we hope will last a long time, as we never want to have to replace this fine machine
-
I hope it lasts as it’s a good little machine!
-
After researching grinders to death, I purchased this machine to grind coffee beans for my espresso
-
I have ground my own dark bean for 10 years, and this machine by far is the absolute best.
-
This machine didn't quite grind course enough, but it was acceptable
-
Interesting, this machine did not come up in multiple searches on Amazon
-
It's not really noticeable in pictures as far as the difference in grind quality, but by touching the coffee grounds, you can feel that the granules produced by the flat-burr grinder is larger! In terms of how loud it is when grinding, I would not call it a quiet machine, but compared to the 10,000 rpm flat burr grinder, it's definitely less noisy.
-
While grinding beans, I have to pause and shake the machine for beans to empty from hopper
-
The machine quit grinding after about two weeks
-
Additionally the spillage problem that I had on my first usage is solved by merely shaking the machine a little bit and tapping the unit before removing the catch cup
-
Grounds are uniform and the machine is not noisy
-
Just decided it was time to upgrade, get a quieter machine with a better grind.
-

-
As I mentioned before, the size may be one of the reasons you can actually get a quiet machine, consistent grind, and a very short grind time.
-
The machine itself is very quiet (especially compared to my obnoxious Cuisinart Burr grinder that it replaced!)
-
Terrific machine and a definite gift for others.
-
Machine is fast
-
The machine is reliable, produces very a very consistent grind, and has worked well with a variety of different brew methods and a wide selection of beans from different roasters.
-
I love this machine
-
Great machine for Espresso grind.
-
Positives: The machine is relatively quiet
-
This machine grinds beans to fine espresso, and makes coffee taste better
-
This machine 3 0r 4 clogs my Breville espresso machine
-
As for how loud the machine is when operating, I have found it comparable to the Baratza encore and quieter than a few other grinders I have encountered.
-
I hated all the other machines because of all the static and mess all over counter
-
It may be a great machine for people who drink drip coffee, however it won't do for my needs
-
Great machine and gave it a four star due to having problems with removing the collection cup...
-
the machine made a strange noise and then started to sound like a screaming cat
-
Yes, the machine makes enough noise that I don't grind the coffee while others are sleeping, but I generally grind enough for a few days at a time so that's no big deal
-
This machine perfectly grinds the beans into a consistently sized grind enabling the beans to yield maximum flavor
-
Another review here suggests that the machine operates well minus the hopper lid, which appears to solve the removal/insertion issue; however, it's not a serious issue and doesn't bother me at all
-
this machine is perfect
-
This machine easily grinds oily coffees like French Roast and the grinder doesn't have to be cleaned after each use.
-
While the grinder does grind very well the machine creates more static electricity than a Tesla coil causing grounds to be strewn all over the counter
-
The machine is quiet than the other i had and that not make a mess when we use it, easy to clean work as expected
-
This machine is not only quiet and efficient, but the white counter top has not needed cleaning after 2 weeks of daily grinding!
-
and I find the 8.5 grind thickness setting is perfect for a robust flavor). No real cons and some tips - give the machine a little shake from the top of the bean hopper at end of grinding to grind the last few beans
-
This is a very durable machine that provides a good grind when making your coffee
-
The machine works best with eighteen grams of coffee ground fine enough to take twenty five seconds to fill two shot glasses.
-
This is a great machine
-
While I did return it, I don't think it's a terrible machine
-
This is a great machine, from espresso to drip coffee
-
Also when grinding the machine is so light weight that you have to shake it for it to keep beans flowing.
-
The machine is intuitive and simple to use and I have found that after a few grinds I have a good sense of how much of a difference in the size of my ground beans a click or two will make.
-
Also, before I remove the canister after grinding I give the machine a gentle tap/shake (gentle!
-
So far, seems like this machine lends to finer and ultra fine grinds, so if you're into Drip, Turkish, or Espresso, would be the bomb, will update again
-
Simply an amazing machine; does more than what I expected and certainly exceeds expectations.
-
This machine is not loud at all.
-
I really like this machine even if it takes up a larger footprint on the counter.
-
Still quiet, little static as
-
However, it was crazy strong and I immediately realized why upon closer inspection of the coffee grinds themselves as they made contact with the water.
-
I've been using this grinder everyday for almost a year, and it still grinds just as consistently as it did brand new.
-
Then, the add says it will grind coffee fine enough to grind very fine and uses the example of grinding so fine as to be incredible to grind Turkish coffee.
