    • The picture and sound are great so these really would be wonderful if they ever fixed the battery drain
    • There are lots of community posts regarding this battery drain issue being widespread.
    • Camera works fine except for the fact that the batteries drains in a week.
    • For 2 of the cameras that seemed to be the most problematic, I purchased the Netgear solar panel, but those only extended the time between charges and failed to stay ahead of the battery drain, even with California sun.
    • This battery drain occurs even when cameras are in off or standby modes, or when only a few seconds of video are being recorded each day.
    • Hundreds of customers have reported batteries draining to 0% after just 3 weeks, instead of the advertised 3-4 months.
    • Arlo (netgear) has still yet to solve the issue in the Firmware they pushed to devices that caused rapid battery drain
    • Before the battery would not need recharging for about 3-4 months but now the battery drains in a month and needs recharging

    • We have been longtime users of NetGear, but with the inflation of the price, the technology has not caught up with the cost of the units lifecycle (smart on their marketing team and R&D)
