The short review is that it's a great game with a one missed opportunity with a lack of a real story mode

I often find myself avoiding punches until I get a good opportunity to attack

A story mode I believe is essential to engaging gamers to their character of choice and the omission of one is a huge missed opportunity that gives the game a generic feel

It's sort of like the break the barrels mode in Smash Bros (Wii U or 3DS) where you spend more coins for more time giving you better chances of unlocking new arms
