The chip is compatible flawlessly, literally put it in the printer and hit "copy." Highly recommended.

Removing and inserting the chip was easy even I could do it, just followed their instructions included

You can keep reusing the authentic chip on every cartridge change too

Make sure you have authentic brother chip from cartridge the printer came with

The cartridge comes with a tiny screwdriver which is a perfect tool to pry the chip out of the old cartridge and then using tweezers, you put it in the matching spot in this new one.

The chip on the cartridge worked great and the printer had no complains about that part.
