Mic Quality: D don't buy this if you want a good mic

The mic is so damn good crisp clear finding the mode are easy and quick

If this headset was in the $200 range it would an excellent mid range choice for a headset, however for $300 dollars if you are willing to sacrifice wireless and some compatibility, you can buy the Astro mixamp pro, and any other headset of your choosing, for example the Sennheiser Game Zero or Game One and get much better sound, mic quality, and comfort while keeping virtual surround sound and volume and mixing controls

I like the mic because I can hear my voice

The Sony brand made one set I really loved (the black ones with the retractable mic and slideable sound

It was comfortable and the sound is great but the internal battery burns out quickly and the mic is just terrible.

If comparing to the gen 2 a50's, this one has a clearer mic, but also a weaker one

For gaming and listening to music they are tough to beat, The mic is a little muddy, but passable; as good or better than most gaming

I might say the mic is not the greatest ever made

For those on PC i would recommend a good pair of headphones and a mic instead.

The only issues I have with it is that when you are in chat sometimes your mic breaks in out or your friends mic does

It has really good sounds, the mic works well and has good cancellation of background noise if you like to use voice activated microphone of applications

The A50 is not cheap... it does not have the best audio, or the best mic, but that is not what you are buying.
