My only complaint is the range

WiFi is perfect, no wires, digital in to the base unit offers fantastic sound range

I love the range of the audio, and love the quality / lightness of the build

Range is poor as

range is horrible, battery life is good sound quality is great, and mic quality is good, would have been 4or 5 stars if the range wasn't horrible

The range on these is a little disappointing

Biggest pro: wireless range is actually pretty great

Next the sound quality, I am no expert with sound, but I do love the range it have, although Astro could had done much better explaining how all the different eq modes setting works

Wireless range is terrible which I understand is because the Gen 3's use a different wireless chip to the Gen 1 & 2's (Kleernet)

If this headset was in the $200 range it would an excellent mid range choice for a headset, however for $300 dollars if you are willing to sacrifice wireless and some compatibility, you can buy the Astro mixamp pro, and any other headset of your choosing, for example the Sennheiser Game Zero or Game One and get much better sound, mic quality, and comfort while keeping virtual surround sound and volume and mixing controls

Mic quality is trash and battery will burn out on you in no time, range is far worse than previous versions, clearly a few steps down from the first two gens, why Astro would

Really, I have no complaints except one so far: the range is kind of bad comparatively

Range has not been an issue for me as I do not leave the living room with them

The 5ghz wireless range is terrible and is unable to go through walls at all

Bad range, bug where you can hear your own voice, and connectivity issues/charging issues

The wireless range is poor

Still I do highly recommend the A50s as I do feel they overall are the best wireless gaming headset available currently

and it’s still in great shape and works as it’s intended to.
