Love the headset not so much the mixamp.

If your going to spend $250 on a headset, drop another $250 on a better mixamp and ur A40 TR's will sound amazing.

This mixamp works great for what it's meant for

I'll be purchasing the PS4 version for my PS4 soon because this mixamp is so good

However, the TR Mixamp is actually slightly better for footsteps when you have the right EQ settings

I still have my 2013 Mixamp and I used to prefer that Mixamp to the TR Mixamp

This mixamp works well for 15 days before a zap sound mid game and just that fast you have no more game sound

Also the Mixamp makes chat sound considerably worse than when plugged into my turtle beach adapter only.

This is still a good mixamp and I recommend it ONLY IF you can get used to the surround sound echo, which might be too bothersome for many people

In the end the mixamp works, and its basically the same thing except with less wires

my item arrived broken as it's an item that amplifies a astro headset and all it does is make popping noises with no real sound at all.they did not check this item before shipping
