On my old AC66U, I had installed the Asus WL-ANT-157 antennas to boost coverage and those didn't provide the coverage that the AC88U does

Using the smart connect rules, I was able to get the router to stabilize as long as I kept everything from connecting to the 5Ghz-1 (Lower) channel.

Got this router months ago after reading so many good things abt it, the signal really goes far way, control dashboard has so many functions, HOWEVER 5G band is very very unstable, it keeps playing on/ off line every hour, so if you are looking for a rock stable 5G band go for Netgear or Cisco.
