    • Predictably it did not help as it was obviously a hardware issue.
    • You have a hardware issue that needs to be addressed.
    • Moreover Asus customer service is shocking if they expect folks to pay for returns for what is clearly a widespread and well known hardware issue
    • They will not give you a refund for the unit and will continue to send you a refurbished unit that is very likely to break as it seems these are hit or miss on hardware issues
    • We puzzle over it for a while and decide it must be a hardware issue
    • I originally thought it was bad firmware but this looks like a hardware issue and would seem from the reviews here I am far from alone with this issue
    • Unbelievable that a router this expensive is being shipped and sold when it is clearly faulty with manufacturer related hardware issues
    • The GT-AC5300 and the RT-AC5300 both are having hardware issues with the wireless radio signal and firmware
    • the signal of both wifi channels appears and disappears every view minutes and the access to GUI became very slow and CPU temp is reaching 80°.I contact ASUS CS and the said it's a hardware issue with internal antenna and you need to send it back to be replaced

    • Using the smart connect rules, I was able to get the router to stabilize as long as I kept everything from connecting to the 5Ghz-1 (Lower) channel.
