I've burned about 50 discs so far with no problems.

I haven't tried to burn a disc with it..

Performs well and haven't had an issue with reading/burning optical discs.

This portable DVD drive has been faithfully burning discs ever since my laptop drive died

We were ripping CDs into iTunes and fortunately was able to remove the disc before the front flap fell off

So hopefully it will serve my purposes in using the occasional disc when I rip a CD or something of that sort, otherwise it is rare when I need to use an optical drive for things nowadays

This drive is much less sensitive to tiny scratches and errors and has yet to reject a disc after 20 attempts
