The key strokes are perfect for my taste and the blue (not illuminated) letters and digits are much preferred to the stark white of the Samsung).
-
letters on the keys are invisible unless you looking directly right over the keyboard
-
Pros: solid construction, great portable form factor, feels very durable, seems to perform adequatelyCons: blue lettering on keys is very hard to see in low lighting, a major mistake (that would cost nothing for them to correct) for a laptop targeted toward a user community that may be learning to type.

The keys on this Asus feel nice, although the lettering on them is a blue on black so not as easy to see
-
The keys are printed with dark blue lettering and very difficult to read in low-light situations.
-
The pale blue letters on the blue keys are invisible if your off center or your eyes slightly away from the key board
-
This keyboard has mid-to-dark-blue lettering on black keys
-
The only problem I have is that the keyboard is not backlit and the green letters on the black keys are hard to see , not enough contrast
-
I attached bright yellow letters and there is plenty reflection from the screen light to now see the keys
-
After a few seconds the screen becomes full of colorful l intermittent lights
