    ASUS VG248QE 24" Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz 1ms HDMI Gaming Monitor

    • All the colors were more vibrant than I was used to, and this monitor is probably twice as bright as any monitor I've had before
    • I downloaded the color profiles like everyone sudjusted but all that did was make it even darker
    • but you do get better colors if you switch it to 60hz,
    • the colors are pretty bad ive tried every setting combo and it still look bad. returning it
    • The color is fantastic as well as the contrast
    • The colors are great and everything is very crisp when gaming.
    • Vibrant colors and perfect white levels right out of the box
    • Also it had really good color settings out of the box
    • Color wise its awesome, needing just a few tweaks
    • Then, how they handle the color via dithering might be different, and why some say the LG has "better color" than the Benq for instance.
    • The colors are perfect after adjusting them through settings on screen with the buttons
    • I wish the colors were more rich.
    • Horrible color
    • Had to mess with the settings a bit to get the right colors of my liking
    • Monitors usually are more expensive if they're IPS and have high fps so you can have both extremely nice colors and fast frames for your csgo adventures :D. Enjoy them though, for price they're extremely good monitors.
    • the color on certain games looks messed up.
    • My other issue with the monitor is that the colors aren't fantastic
    • If you work with photo shop or other applications and need precise color display then I wouldn't recommend this monitor, it was specifically for gaming for me
    • It was a nice monitor for gaming but if your a casual gamer just get a good IPS monitor because this one had some bad color and text settings when it came to doing anything else
    • but I've heard that colors are lackluster on the latter, and this one had great colors out of the box.
    • It has impressive color accuracy and brightness for a TN panel
    • Best 144hz for the price imo since it is a TN panel be aware that the colors aren't as good
    • Super clear, vivid color and fast response times!
    • Super sharp image and great color
    • Beautiful, vivid colors
    • Download a good color profile on Reddit for maximum pc glory.
    • the colors were fine.. albeit a little bright and not fine tuned.. but still visually appealing
    • Let me begin by giving a TL;DR: Excellent introductory 144hz monitor that has terrible color profiles out of the box
    • The colors out of the box are horrible, every single preset is horrible
    • Great brightness, good color especially the reds and greens but not as good as a VA or definitely not as clear as an IPS panel
    • Otherwise it offers great color clarity, and stunning visuals.
    • I have no problem using the colors out of the box
    • I had different brand monitor before this and the color was perfect but unfortunately it stopped
    • Not the best color profiles build in to the firmware settings
    • The colors feel a little nicer on my old Samsung, but I could not justify the price Samsung is currently asking for a 144hz 27" panel
    • Wicked fast, vibrant colors and awesome adjust-ability
    • It is running strong with vibrant colors, 144 hz works awesome, refresh rate as 1 ms is on point
    • I had seen some complaints about color accuracy being that it’s a tn panel, but I found that taking 5 minutes to tinker with settings will result in beautiful colors
    • Adjusts high enough to have my cat lay under it and gives a great gaming experience with good response time and vivid colors.
    • Not the best color reproduction but overall, a good value.
    • Colors are washed out, colors are inaccurate, for some reason things seem too sharp
    • To be clear the only reason I took off a star is because of the bad color profiles
    • Once you go 144hz, you'll never go back, it's a good monitor overall, the colors aren't very good when you first turn it on, but some tinkering in the settings could make it pretty shape for a tn panel
    • The colors are bright and vivid.
    • The colors are so good
    • colors look amazing and you can adjust the screen height and angle easily.
    • I compared this side-by-side with my old HP Pavilion 23bw, and the colors are more vibrant
    • The colors look really good and you can definitely see the difference between 60 Hz and 144 Hz monitors.
    • The only complaint I had about the monitor was the colors
    • The color is good, the view is good and that you can move them up and down is a plus
    • What is noticeable is how bad the color is and how more much more difficult that makes everyday use
    • I use it for both color-sensitive work and gaming.
    • The colors are bad out of the box, but there are online profiiles that will help you set it up
    • Very dull images and flat colors
    • Beautiful colors, fast and responsive.
    • LOVE THEMGreat Color
    • The 1080p is so crisp and the colors are adjustable
    • I wouldn’t recommended it for photo/video editing since it doesn’t have the most accurate color representation
    • This one is a terrific choice after fixing the poor colors out of the box.
    • Be sure to set the colors a little softer and keep a good amount of distance between you and the monitor
    • The colors are better, the 75 instead of 60 refresh rate is wonderful
    • Also great color
    • People say it has some bland colors, but if you head to your monitor's menu you can turn up saturation and contrast to where the color is overwhelming
    • Great colors, contrast, durability ... great deal
    • Considering this though, the quality of the speakers is not terribly impressive (average quality, but if you are not using headphones while gaming or streaming, I would recommend a speaker system which includes a subwoofer as to be so immersed that every gunshot and explosion feels like you’re being punched directly in the chest), and as one would expect from a Twisted Nematic (TN) panel, the color renditions and viewing angels are poor in comparison to an In Plane Switching (IPC) display
    • Nice monitor the colors are pretty washed you need to mess with color profiles to get it to where you like it
    • Great gaming monitor, colors are not that great out the box
    • The color looks amazing and the refresh rate definitely plays a part in performance
    • The colors are lacking but I didnt buy this monitor for a perfect image
    • With color profiles and adjustments it can get even better colors
    • The colors do look pretty awful out of the box, but there are tons and tons of settings to tweak it to your heart's content
    • Vivid screen colors
    • The coloring out of the box was pretty bad but very easy to fix with done tuning
    • Very good color
    • Color is amazing and the center dot is a great add!
    • The screen is bright and colors are so vivid
    • , colors look like garbage, and it went out after 2 months
    • so you have to manually set the saturation to get a good color.
    • Will fix itself after 30mins+.Solution: dont use built in speakers.3)Color: the color is not the best
    • It is absolutely amazing to game on, and the colors are very good once adjusted
    • The colors out of the box are not great, seeing as this is a TN panel rather than an IPS panel, which is fine with me
    • Gaming is super frickin smooth, colors are good enough, and it is really smooth
    • It has a good I/O, and the colors are pretty good too.
    • The colors look great, and jumping up to that 144hz for gaming has made everything look so smooth
    • Wicked fast, vibrant colors and awesome adjust-ability
    • Out of literally every monitor I've ever used in my life, this monitor has the worst colors I've literally ever seen in my entire life
    • I saw some people saying it had washed out colors but saw a lot of people saying the color was good too
    • The colors are too bright and too dark at the same time
    • Beautiful pictures, great colors and very responsive, historically all my ASUS monitors have been very accurate with color correctness between on-screen image and out-putted image
    • Good for the price... but color was a bit dull.
    • All it does now is just flash a bright white color and then shut off
    • (Don't worry, the colors are still very vibrant at this level)Color Temp
    • It's extremely noticeable on dark grey colors, such as the colors of discord
    • Since it is a TN panel, it is noticeably less crisp than a nice IPS panel but the colors and 144hz refresh rate is a welcom upgrade, especially at this proce point.
    • This monitor is amazing, has a great resolution and integrated speakers that although they are low power they are very well heard, the display of stereoscopic images is great performance, the colors are very bright and it costs a glass of work to fix them.
    • The colors out of the box weren't that great, but if you follow the steps above then the picture is pretty accurate
    • The Screen is very beautiful and the colors are amazing for a great price
    • Great color and picture
    • My ex loves the thing, exclaimed how amazing the color and picture was
    • Yes, like many others have stated, colors out-of-the-box are garbage
    • Insanely fast response, great colors
    • :o You may really waste some hours on calibration to see a good colors
    • Insanely fast response, great colors
    • However, if you need accurate colors on a regular basis and you can only afford one monitor, you might want to look elsewhere
    • Love this monitor on my PS4 Pro, it has a very nice color quality and is great for FPS very fast response time, no blur or ghosting
    • but I've heard that colors are lackluster on the latter, and this one had great colors out of the box.
    • , new monitor had the same issue, worse colors, and lines across the screen on dark images
    • R/G/B I was able to get very bright and vibrant colors
    • Despite it being TN not IPS as I mentioned above, this thing has incredible color spectrum (16.9 million like a traditional ips) and amazing viewing angles
    • It hurt my eyes when I first turned it on and configuring it to get it to a usable color saturation was difficult as this monitor really favors yellow hues (at least in my opinion)
    • Extremely good display and colors are great
    • It's crisp, the colors are amazing, it's an all around beautiful monitor
    • Games play great, the color and depth of images is amazing
    • The colors at 60hz are shockingly good on this monitor - almost to the point of being distracting.
    • Expect to spend time to get the colors to look decent.
    • Love the colors as well
    • Good color
    • Only issue is the colors right out of the box
    • Rating 4 stars due to the poor color and brightness calibration out of the box
    • picture and color decent ..
    • This isn't a huge surprise, because TN panels usually don't have great colors, and this isn't a dealbreaker for me because I have a secondary monitor with much better colors that I can use whenever color accuracy is a concern
    • I couldn't see any color difference from my past monitor and the colors looked sharp.
    • The monitor has a good picture for being 144hz but the colors are terrible
    • I actually like the colors
    • The colors on the monitor are decent but it does in fact take some tweaking in order to get the monitor to suit your needs
    • I found the color settings decent even though it is a TN panel
    • Color is great, not washed out at all
    • Some of the purest colors I've observed on any monitor, regardless of price or class - I've used hundreds
    • Taking 1 star off because I think the colors could be more vivid
    • Buttery smooth when you set it to 144hz and the colors really aren't bad at all for it having a TN panel.
    • The colors are washed out, dull, contrast ratio isnt great either
    • This monitor, at least the one I received, produces fantastic colors.
    • Once everything else is perfect and its time to move up in monitor, I promise that higher resolution, free/Gsync and decent color are all FAR more important than extended framerates.
    • The color is simply superb and for games it's unbeatable
    • Color-wise
    • Some color profile tweaks made mine a lot better but it will of course never be usable for any color sensitive work
    • I have no issues with it, did take some time trying to adjust the colors and disabling the 3D feature that comes with it on
    • i really like it, the colors are....fair, like I was warned about, but the problem I have is with the power cord.
    • A fantastic product for the price paid, I've personally seen some very dark/very bright color issues on Reddit before while I was doing my research, however, it seems that has been fixed since the small issue came
    • Only criticism is the coloring could be better
    • I only really notice color shifting when aggressively slouching so if you're not doing color-sensitive work then this is a perfect monitor.
    • Great color, very fast response times, nothing to complain about.
    • I love the colors in this monitor and it works great with gaming through my laptop
    • I love the colors in this monitor and it works great with gaming through my laptop
    • The stand is adjustable, color is amazing, sound isn’t the
    • Incredible color and smooth refresh rate in games and movies
    • Horrible colors, horrible resolution and line edges
    • Amazing monitor, not great color out of the box, but this is easily corrected with just a few tweaks
    • The colors are nice, but you should tweak them to what you want after the monitor comes out of the box
    • Beautiful graphics & colors
    • Color is as good as when I bought it.
    • Nevertheless, colors are still vibrant and the TN technology's 144hz refresh rate keeps up with my fast paced games
    • However, I would certainly not watch movies or do any color-sensitive work on this thing
    • Color is vibrant, 144hz, moves any which way you want to move it, and you will definitely see a difference in game
    • While some colors look weird and off, they're easily fixed by going into the menu and configuring them to your likings
    • And the calibration was showing that it was producing fantastic colors as did the eye test.
    • These TN panels don't have the greatest color or contrast, but they feature some of the fastest G2G response times available
    • Great color
    • The colors would be a slight issue but if you can get it to your own perfect color
    • The colors on the monitor more vibrant than my BenQ xl2720z and it feels just as if not more responsive
    • colors are great and the resolution is sharp
    • Color is fine,we don’t see any problems with it
    • , the color is vibrant and comparable
    • Previously I had bought a monitor BenQZowie RL series and at 2 weeks of use began to show dead pixels, the settings is easay to use but a little compicated to reach the perfect settings colors
    • The game play is so crisp and the color is amazing
    • The colors aren't that great but turning up my digital vibrance in my Nvidia settings helped.
    • Now I would not reccomend this monitor to someone whk is looking for a monitor with top notch image quality with great colors and imagery
    • Great Monitor, good colors, however....when you're in Windows 10 it doesn't automatically put you in 144hz mode, in display settings you need to change it from 60hz to 144hz and use a Dual DVI cable in order to use it to its fullest capacity
    • The colors are very bright and vibrant
    • I would recommend it, the images are great quality, I use it for editing pictures, so true color and light are very important to me
    • Anyone looking for rich, saturated colors and life-like reproduction of movies and photos
    • Amazing monitor, great colors, comes with DVI cable.
    • Excellent for play games, greats colors, great definition
    • Blacks are actually black, colors are very sharp, and the 144hz functionality makes all the difference in the world
    • - I find the LG has better colors, and better blacks - running the "Lagom" suite of tests also verified the LG is better at contrast and black levels than this ASUS (and the Benq for that matter).
    • It's lightweight, beautiful colors and great for gaming.
    • i can say it, love it, awesome resolution, awesome colors, now when i see others monitors i know the big different; those monitors are nothing in front this one, one of the best 144 hz monitors ever
    • The colors are crisp and beautiful
    • Higher refresh rates defiantly wash out the color saturation, very bright though2
    • The colors would be a slight issue but if you can get it to your own perfect color
    • + FPS.My main gripes were the colors and the brightness, (and the of course fact that there were huge blue lines going through everything)
    • BenQ monitor that I returned that had ugly color scheme and my gaming remained the same with it.
    • Still good colors for the monitor type, and much better than my old 25 inch tft display
    • The colors are vibrant and smooth
    • I usually keep it set to theater mode for best color
    • It doesn't reproduce colors like an IPS monitor would, but it works really well
    • colors are washed out upon arrival, but a little tweaking can can adjust that, there is a reddit page with a good guide on getting decent colors out of this monitor
    • beautiful picture with amazing colors
    • As everyone has said on these reviews before, the colors look very pale and washed out once you get the monitor
    • A fantastic product for the price paid, I've personally seen some very dark/very bright color issues on Reddit before while I was doing my research, however, it seems that has been fixed since the small issue came
    • The monitor works well, great color, contrast, etc
    • So take a little time to dial them in before giving in to the idea that these display are "washed out" with "poor color reproduction".Pro tip
    • I did notice if you arent looking at it directly, you will notice a yellow color glare effect.
    • This monitor was great when it came, the color was a bit dull until you played around with the color settings
    • Highly recommend the changing the color settings as stock aren't optimal
    • The colors are not perfect, but at this price point, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better 1080p panel at a 144Hz refresh rate
    • Really great color and responsiveness
    • After you set it up with ICC profile and the right color settings it is amazing
    • But anything that requires you to see the correct colors would not work.
    • It is a lot more smoother and the colors are good
    • Black levels aren't amazing, and the color is a little lacking.
    • Highly recommended C:
    • It has a good I/O, and the colors are pretty good too.
