ASUS MB168B 15.6" WXGA 1366x768 USB Portable Monitor

    • ASUS customer service unreachable after calling 3 numbers (including a number specifically for monitors) and holding a total of 25 minutesI want to like this monitor
    • Without the proper customer support and a fix for this debug error, this external monitor is essentially useless.
    • This is a badly engineered and/or manufactured product being offered by a company with ghastly customer service.
    • I found a forum online where another customer was unsuccessful in getting the monitor to work at all on windows 10 and downgraded back to windows 8
    • Terrible and unhelpful customer service reps.
    • WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (outside ComCast).
    • only compatible with newer computers with built in USB-C
    • The C+ is brighter and more responsive than the B+ as it uses the displayport, standard over USB 3.1 Type C meaning that it counts towards the maximum number of monitors your graphics card supports
    • before you buy, do yourself a favor and research it a bit as far as compatibility goes.compared to 169c+...in my experience, the c+ will only work if your mobo setup has a 3.1 usb c slot that's dp alt mode compatible.
    • However, most laptops don't support USB C yet.
    • Unfortunately, the USB-A to Proprietary connector does not work with the Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter and my MacBook pro no longer recognizes it
    • The response time for DisplayPort over USB C is much better than MB169B+ which is USB 3.0 with drivers.
    • Apparently doesn't work with USB3.0, only USB type C with Display port
    • " Full HD 1920x1080 IPS USB Type-C Powered Eye Care Portable MonitorComputer: XPS 13 (2015)Well designed product
    • the C+ blows the B+ away with rich color and sharper image
    • ** Will most likely not work unless your laptop has a native USB C
    • If you know the "C" version will work with your laptop (C with alternate modes capable of display port), and you don't plan on using it on anything else, the "C" might be a better option
    • If your device does not support DisplayPort over Type-C please look into getting the MB169B+ instead as this monitor uses the USB 3.0 standard
    • DisplayPort™ over USB-C™ is using USB Type-C connector and cable to support the DisplayPort interface for audio/video transport capability
    • , the stand/cover was OK, but the problem was the USC C, I couldn't get the right connector to hook it to my laptop and get it to work, I ordered several to try before returning the item.
    • but I don't have a c compatible
    • On The Go (OTG Host Cable) for Type-C Supported Devices (6 Inch
    • There is currently no USB-C to Multiport USB-C dongle available that supports pass-thru USB-C charging (none that I have found, anyways after much searching
    • ONLY compatible to: USB 3.1 type-C(GEN2), Thunderbolt 3 devices, USB 3.0 type-C is not compatible
    • I am a digital nomad and I work as s
    • Don't make the same mistake!S
    • It doesn't have a "cheap-o" feel
