It worked flawlessly on Windows 10, but drivers were required under Windows 7 which makes it a problem to use on a managed work device (no admin rights)

Since the last update prevents DisplayLink technology from properly working with Macs, this device works like a champ with my Windows Laptop, and I like the scale, and the portability of it.

Refer to reviews on MB168B+ may lead to a better purchasing decision, Do consider the fact that some of those who reviewed the product may not have followed up and their devices may no longer be working such as mine

The C+ is brighter and more responsive than the B+ as it uses the displayport, standard over USB 3.1 Type C meaning that it counts towards the maximum number of monitors your graphics card supports

before you buy, do yourself a favor and research it a bit as far as compatibility goes.compared to 169c+...in my experience, the c+ will only work if your mobo setup has a 3.1 usb c slot that's dp alt mode compatible.

However, most laptops don't support USB C yet.

Unfortunately, the USB-A to Proprietary connector does not work with the Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter and my MacBook pro no longer recognizes it

The response time for DisplayPort over USB C is much better than MB169B+ which is USB 3.0 with drivers.

If you know the "C" version will work with your laptop (C with alternate modes capable of display port), and you don't plan on using it on anything else, the "C" might be a better option
